Biography and Career
Konny Küster lives and works as a freelance artist in Hamburg and France. Since her youth, she has been fascinated by the joy of artistic expression, particularly in painting.
She gained formative inspiration during her several-year stay in Paris. There, she worked in an international environment with renowned figures as a stylist and make-up artist.
Her artistic development has emerged over many years from a continuous engagement with painting and her personal experiences. Travels and regular stays in Israel and France are important sources of her art.
In the 1980s, Konny Küster set up her own business in Hamburg and ran her own salon for many years. Her work has always centred on people: their charisma, processes of transformation and their personality. Training in coaching and communication, as well as further training in art therapy, deepened this approach.
Today, her painting combines experience and intuition, and she has developed a visual language that reflects the stages of her life and her keen sense of people and situations.
Statement
When I paint, I follow my instincts, inspired by my experiences, my observations and the things that move me.
To me, art is free, vibrant and constantly evolving.
